Tainá 3: The Origin is an exciting Brazilian movie from 2011. Its original name in Portuguese is Tainá 3 – A Origem. This film is the third part of the popular Tainá movie series. It tells the story of Tainá, a brave 5-year-old girl. She is an orphan from a native tribe. Tainá has a big dream: she wants to become a strong warrior. She also wants to discover where she truly comes from.
The Story of Tainá
The movie begins in the amazing Amazon rainforest. This beautiful forest is being invaded by bad guys called pirates. A native girl named Maya is hurt by these bandits. This sad event leaves her baby, Tainá, all alone.
Little Tainá finds shelter among the huge roots of a giant tree. Luckily, a wise old shaman named Tigê finds her. He is a bit lonely but takes great care of the baby. Tigê raises Tainá for five years.
Tainá's Journey
After five years, Tigê and Tainá return to his people. It's a special time because a new leader will be chosen. This new leader will be the protector of nature. Tainá is now a young girl. She wants to present herself as a warrior, but she is stopped.
However, Tainá remembers her mother's legacy. Her mother was the last great warrior of their tribe. Tainá gets help from two new friends. One is Laurinha, a smart girl from the city. The other is Gobi, a native boy.
With her friends' support, Tainá decides to face the bad guys. She is determined to protect her home. She also wants to solve the mystery of her own past. This adventure helps her learn about where she truly belongs.
