Takaki Shigemitsu (重光 貴葵, Shigemitsu Takaki, born July 31, 1983) is a former Japanese football player. He was born in Kitakyushu, Japan. Takaki played as a defender. A defender's main job is to stop the other team from scoring goals.
Takaki Shigemitsu: A Football Story
Takaki Shigemitsu began his football journey at Momoyama Gakuin University. He played for their team from 2002 to 2005. After his university days, he joined professional football clubs.
Starting His Pro Career
In 2006, Takaki joined his first professional club, Tokyo Verdy. Later that same year, he moved to another team, Fagiano Okayama. He played for Fagiano Okayama until 2008.
