Takashi Miki (三木 隆司, Miki Takashi, born July 23, 1978) is a former Japanese football player. He played as a defender for many years. After he stopped playing, he became an assistant manager for Nagoya Grampus.
Playing Career
Takashi Miki was born in Sagamihara, Japan, on July 23, 1978. After finishing high school, he started his professional football journey.
Early Career
In 1997, Takashi joined Bellmare Hiratsuka. This team played in the J1 League, which is Japan's top football league. He played many games as a center back, helping to defend his team's goal. However, at the end of the 1999 season, Bellmare Hiratsuka was moved down to the J2 League.
Time at Oita Trinita
In 2000, Takashi moved to Oita Trinita, a club in the J2 League. He continued to play as a center back and was a key player for the team. In 2002, Oita Trinita won the J2 League championship. This win meant they were promoted to the J1 League for the 2003 season. Takashi kept playing regularly for Oita Trinita in the J1 League. However, in 2007, he played less often.
Later Career and Retirement
In 2008, Takashi joined Nagoya Grampus. But he did not get to play much in matches there. The next year, in 2009, he moved to Tokushima Vortis, a J2 League club. He played regularly for Tokushima Vortis until 2011. After 2012, his chances to play became fewer. Tokushima Vortis was promoted to the J1 League for the 2014 season. However, Takashi Miki decided to retire from playing football at the end of the 2013 season. He did not play in the J1 League with Tokushima Vortis.
