Takeshi Mizuuchi (水内 猛, Mizuuchi Takeshi, born November 19, 1972) is a former Japanese football player. He played as a forward, which means he was mainly responsible for scoring goals.
His Football Journey
Takeshi Mizuuchi was born in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan, on November 19, 1972. After finishing high school, he started his professional football career in 1991. He joined a team called Mitsubishi Motors, which later became known as Urawa Reds.
When he first started, it was tough for him to get a lot of playing time. However, he got his chance when some of his teammates, like Masahiro Fukuda and Koichi Hashiratani, got injured. Takeshi stepped up and played in many matches for the team.
In 1996, he moved to a different club called Brummell Sendai. This team was part of the Japan Football League at the time. He played for Brummell Sendai for two seasons.
Takeshi Mizuuchi decided to retire from professional football at the end of the 1997 season. During his career, he played a total of 93 league games and scored 28 goals.
