Takuji Miyoshi was born in Kitakyushu, Japan, on August 20, 1978. After finishing high school, he began his professional football career in 1997. He joined Avispa Fukuoka, a team from his hometown. This team played in the J1 League, which is the top professional football league in Japan.
Early Career at Avispa Fukuoka
From 1999, Miyoshi started playing in some matches for Avispa Fukuoka. He often came on as a substitute center back, a key defensive position. However, he didn't get to play in many games during his time there.
Moving to J2 League
In 2002, Miyoshi moved to Sagan Tosu, a club in the J2 League. This is the second-highest professional league in Japan. At Sagan Tosu, he became a regular player in the center back position in 2002. This meant he played almost every game. But, his chances to play decreased from 2003 onwards.
Playing in the Japan Football League
In September 2004, Takuji Miyoshi joined ALO's Hokuriku. This team played in the Japan Football League (JFL), which is another important league in Japan. He was a regular player for this club for three seasons.
