Tallisha Harden, born on July 21, 1992, is an Australian rugby league player. She is the captain for the North Queensland Cowboys team in the NRL Women's Premiership. Tallisha mostly plays as a second-rower (second-rower). She has also played for the Australian national team, known as the Jillaroos, and for the Queensland state team. Before joining the Cowboys, she played for the Brisbane Broncos and Sydney Roosters.

Tallisha Harden's Sports Journey
Starting with Volleyball and Rugby Union
Before playing rugby league, Tallisha Harden was a talented indoor volleyball player. She even represented Australia in volleyball. When she was 19, she started playing rugby union. She played for teams like Sunnybank and Queensland. In 2018, she decided to focus completely on rugby league.
Beginning Rugby League
Tallisha started playing rugby league in 2013. In 2014, she was chosen to play for the Indigenous All Stars team. She was even the captain of this team in 2015, 2016, and 2020.
Playing for Australia and Queensland
On May 3, 2015, Tallisha made her first appearance for the Australian national team, the Jillaroos. She came off the bench in a game where Australia won 22–14 against New Zealand at Suncorp Stadium. Later that year, on June 27, 2015, she played her first game for the Queensland state team. That game against New South Wales ended in a 4–all draw at 1300SMILES Stadium.
Joining the NRLW Teams
In June 2018, Tallisha played for South East Queensland in the first Women's National Championships. Soon after, on June 14, 2018, she joined the Brisbane Broncos team in the NRL Women's Premiership. She played her first game for the Broncos in Round 3 of the 2018 NRL Women's season, helping them win 32–10 against the New Zealand Warriors.
In May 2019, she again represented South East Queensland. On June 29, 2019, she signed with the Sydney Roosters NRLW team. At the end of that season, she was named their Player of the Year.
In October 2019, Tallisha played for Australia in the 2019 Rugby League World Cup 9s. She also returned to the Jillaroos Test team after four years. She came off the bench and scored a try in a 28–8 win against New Zealand at WIN Stadium.
In September 2020, Tallisha returned to the Brisbane Broncos NRLW team. On October 25, 2020, she started as a second-rower (second-row) and scored a try in the Broncos' 20–10 Grand Final victory over the Roosters.
On February 20, 2021, she captained the Indigenous All Stars team in their game against the Māori All Stars.
Captain of the Cowboys
On May 11, 2023, Tallisha Harden signed a contract to play for the North Queensland Cowboys. On June 28, she was announced as one of the first co-captains for the Cowboys, sharing the role with Kirra Dibb.
In Round 1 of the 2023 NRL Women's season, she played her first game for the Cowboys. She started as a prop (prop) in a 16–6 loss to the Gold Coast Titans. Tallisha re-signed with the Cowboys for the 2025 season on December 9, 2024.
