Taylor St Baristas was a coffee shop chain from Britain. It had 10 locations in total. Nine of these coffee shops were in central London, England. The tenth shop was located in New York City in the United States.
The company was started by three people: Andrew, Nick, and Laura Tolley. They had previously helped create another coffee shop chain called Harris + Hoole. In July 2015, the Tolleys decided to focus completely on their Taylor St Baristas chain.
What Happened to the Company?
Sometimes, companies face financial difficulties. When this happens, special people are brought in to help manage the company's money and business. For Taylor St Baristas, this happened on July 19, 2019. Asher Miller and Henry Lan were appointed to help manage the company's business.
After this, the nine Taylor St Baristas cafes in London were taken over by another coffee company called Black Sheep Coffee. The Taylor St Baristas brand name, its coffee roasting business, and its customer list were bought by a different company, Department of Coffee and Social Affairs. This means Taylor St Baristas as a chain no longer operates under its original name.
