Tee Harbor is a small area in Juneau, Alaska. It is also sometimes called The Harbor. This place is actually made up of two small communities right next to each other. In 1950, only 32 people lived there.
Tee Harbor is about 3 miles (4.8 km) northwest of Fairhaven. It is also about 17 miles (27 km) northwest of the main city of Juneau.
Business started here in 1901 with a place that processed fish, called a saltery. A larger fish processing factory, a cannery, was built in 1911. However, this cannery burned down in 1912. The name Tee Harbor first appeared in a public record book called Polk's Gazetteer in 1916.

Tee Harbor began as a place for fishing and processing fish. The first business, a saltery, opened in 1901. This was a place where fish were salted to preserve them.
Growth of the Fishing Industry
The fishing industry grew in Tee Harbor. A cannery was built in 1911. Canneries are factories that put fish into cans. This helped process more fish from the area. Sadly, the cannery was destroyed by fire just one year later, in 1912.

Tee Harbor was once listed as a small, independent village. It appeared in the U.S. Census records in 1940 and 1950.

In 1940, the population of Tee Harbor was 37 people. By 1950, the number of residents had slightly decreased to 32 people. Later, Tee Harbor became part of the larger city of Juneau. This means it is no longer a separate village.
