Teniola Apata (born on December 23, 1993), known by her stage name Teni or Teni The Entertainer, is a popular Nigerian singer, songwriter, and entertainer. She is known for her unique voice and energetic performances.

Early Life and Education
Teni was born in Lagos State, Nigeria. She is the younger sister of another famous Nigerian singer, Niniola. Teni went to Apata Memorial High School. She later studied at the University of Georgia and finished her degree in business administration at American InterContinental University.
Music Career Highlights
Starting Out: 2016–2019
Teni began her music journey in 2016. Her first song, "Amen," was released when she was with Magic Fingers Records. In 2017, she joined Dr. Dolor Entertainment.
She became widely known after releasing the song "Fargin" in September 2017. Her big breakthrough came with hit songs like "Askamaya," "Case," and "Uyo Meyo." "Askamaya" was even listed as one of the top songs of 2018 by MTV Base.
In 2019, Teni was featured by YouTube Music as a "Trending Artist on the Rise." She also released music videos for "Sugar Mummy" and a new song called "Power Rangers."
EPs and Albums: 2019–Present
Teni released her first EP (which is like a mini-album) called Billionaire on October 11, 2019. This EP had six songs and featured no other artists. It was produced by Jaysynths Beatz and Pheelz.
In April 2020, Teni worked with Nigerian DJ Neptune to release an EP called The Quarantine Playlist. This EP talked about life during the coronavirus lockdown. It had four songs, mostly with a calm beat.
Her first full album, WONDALAND, was released in March 2021. Teni spent over two years creating this album, recording songs in different cities like London, New York City, and Lagos. Many talented producers, including Pheelz and Krizbeatz, helped create the album's sound. WONDALAND became available on popular music platforms like Apple Music and Spotify.
Endorsements
Teni has partnered with several big brands. In March 2019, she signed a deal with Tom Tom, a well-known candy brand in Nigeria. Later, in October 2020, she also signed an endorsement deal with Globacom Nigeria, a major telecommunications company.

Teni has won many awards for her music. In 2018, she won "Rookie of the Year" at The Headies Awards. She also received "Most Promising Act to Watch" at the Nigeria Entertainment Awards and "Best New Artist" at the Soundcity MVP Awards Festival.
