Teresa Díaz II de Haro was a Spanish noblewoman born before 1254. She was a lady from Biscay, a region in northern Spain. Teresa was one of five children of Diego López III de Haro, who was the Lord of Biscay, and his wife, Constanza de Bearne.

Her Family Background
Teresa came from an important family called the House of Haro. Her father, Diego López III, was a powerful lord. Her mother, Constanza, was the daughter of Guillermo II de Bearne, a viscount, and Garsenda of Provence.
Teresa's grandparents on her father's side were Lope Díaz II de Haro, who was also Lord of Biscay, and Urraca Alfonso de León. Urraca was the daughter of King Alfonso IX of León. Teresa had several siblings, including Diego Lopez V de Haro and Maria II Diaz de Haro.
Her Marriage and Life
Around the year 1270, Teresa married Juan Núñez I de Lara. This happened after his first wife, Teresa Álvarez de Azagra, passed away. Juan Núñez was the leader of another very important family, the House of Lara. He became the head of his family after his father, Nuño González de Lara el Bueno, died in 1275.
Juan Núñez held many important titles and lands. He was the lord of places like Lerma, Amaya, Dueñas, and Palenzuela. He also inherited the title of Lord of Albarracín from his first wife. He kept all these titles until he died in 1294. Teresa's exact date of death is not known.

Juan Núñez II de Lara
Born around 1276, Juan Núñez II took over as the head of the House of Lara after his father died. He also became the Lord of Albarracín. He was married three times during his life but did not have any children. He passed away in 1315.
Nuño González de Lara
Nuño was born around 1284. He worked as a lieutenant for King Ferdinand IV of Castile. He married Constanza de Portugal y Manuel, who was the granddaughter of King Alfonso III of Portugal. Nuño died in 1296 and also did not have any children.
Juana Núñez de Lara
Juana was born in 1285. She first married Enrique de Castilla "el Senador" in 1299. Enrique was the son of King Ferdinand III of Castile. Later, she married a second time to Fernando de la Cerda (1275–1322). Fernando was the nephew of King Alfonso X de Castilla. Juana and Fernando had many children. Their children later became the leaders of the House of Lara. Juana died in 1351.
Teresa Núñez de Lara y Haro
Born around 1280, Teresa married Alfonso de Valencia. Alfonso was the nephew of King Alfonso X. She passed away around 1314 and did not have any children.
