The Johnny Cash Children's Album is a special music collection by the famous country singer Johnny Cash. It was his 49th album and came out in 1975. This album is unique because all the songs on it were made just for kids!
Johnny Cash recorded these songs between 1972 and 1973. Many of the songs were new and had not been heard before. One fun song is "I Got a Boy (And His Name is John)". It's a funny duet with his wife, June Carter Cash, about their son, John Carter Cash. Another song, "Tiger Whitehead", was later released in a different version.
In 2006, The Johnny Cash Children's Album was re-released. This new version included four extra songs. One of these bonus songs was "My Grandfather's Clock". Another song from the album, "Old Shep", was also part of a big Johnny Cash music collection called The Legend in 2005.
