Exploring The Magic Garden's World
In The Magic Garden, Carole and Paula were the main stars. They sang many songs in every episode. Paula often played her acoustic guitar. The whole show happened inside the magical garden set. This colorful place had a special Magic Tree. The tree could lower different objects from its branches.
Fun Spots in the Garden
The garden also had swings and a stone path. There was a small shed and the Chuckle Patch. The Chuckle Patch was a giggling bed of flowers. These flowers grew leaves with jokes on one side. The punch line was on the other side!
Meet the Garden Friends
Many conversations happened at a low stone wall. Here, Carole and Paula chatted with Sherlock. Sherlock was a playful squirrel puppet. He really loved peanuts! Later, a colorful bird named Flapper joined the garden friends.
Stories and Life Lessons
Stories were often acted out using costumes and props. These came from the Story Box. Besides songs, games, and jokes, the characters taught important life lessons. They also gave personal greetings to kids watching at home. For example, they would say, "Hello, Judy. Hello, Jeffrey."
