The Toy Museum is a special place in Sant Feliu de Guíxols, a town in the Baix Empordà region of Spain. It holds a huge collection of over 6,500 toys. These toys were collected by Tomàs Pla and date from 1870 to 1980. Most of them were made right there in Spain.
The museum first opened its doors in August 2000. It is located inside a beautiful building. This building is designed in the Catalan Art Nouveau style.
Exploring the Toy Collection
This museum shows how toys have changed over time. You can see toys made from tin, then later ones made from plastic. There are more than 2,200 toys on display.
