Thomas Foket, born on September 25, 1994, is a professional football player from Belgium. He plays as a right-back for Anderlecht and is also part of the Belgian national team.

Thomas Foket's Club Career
Starting at Dilbeek Sport
Thomas Foket started playing for Dilbeek Sport when he was just 16 years old. This team was in the Fourth Division of Belgian football. After the 2011–12 season, bigger teams like Gent, Club Brugge, and Anderlecht wanted him to join. He picked Gent because it allowed him to continue his studies while playing football.
Playing for Gent
In March 2012, Foket signed a two-year contract with Gent. He played his first game for Gent in the Europa League, a big European competition. This happened against FC Differdange 03, where he came on as a substitute.
In July 2012, Gent extended Foket's contract until 2016. Later, in October 2014, he signed another contract extension, keeping him at the club until 2018. After returning from a loan spell, he changed his position to play as a right midfielder.
Loan to Oostende
During the 2013–14 season, Thomas Foket was loaned to K.V. Oostende. This team had just been promoted to the Pro League, the top football league in Belgium.
Moving to Reims
In August 2018, Foket joined Stade de Reims, a team in Ligue 1, which is the top football league in France. He signed a five-year contract with them. The transfer fee for him was reported to be €3.5 million.
Joining Anderlecht
On August 3, 2024, Foket signed a three-season contract with Anderlecht, marking his return to Belgian football.
Thomas Foket's International Career
In November 2016, Thomas Foket was called up for the first time to play for the senior Belgian national team. This was for matches against the Netherlands and Estonia. He made his official debut for Belgium on November 10, 2016. He came on as a substitute in a friendly game against the Netherlands, which ended in a 1–1 draw.
