Later, he became the recorder of King's Lynn starting in 1597. A recorder was a judge who helped with legal matters in the town.

Serving in Parliament

Thomas Oxborough was chosen to be a Member of Parliament (MP) for King's Lynn several times. An MP is a person elected to represent their town or area in the House of Commons. He was elected in:
