In 2002, Tim moved to Los Angeles. There, he attended Occidental College and studied the history of Japanese food. This helped him learn a lot about the traditions and stories behind Japanese dishes. He graduated from college in 2006.

Exploring Japanese Cuisine

After college, Tim's passion for Japanese food led him to Kitakyushu, Japan. He lived there to learn even more about cooking and the culture of Japanese cuisine. This experience helped him become an expert in this type of food.

Moving to London and Career Start

In 2008, Tim moved to London with his British wife. He began his career in the food industry by managing a craft beer bar. This was his first step into the busy world of restaurants and hospitality.

Opening Restaurants
