The Titanic Museum in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, looks just like the famous RMS Titanic ship! This two-story museum opened on April 8, 2010. It is built to be half the size of the real ship.

The museum sits in a pool of water. This makes it look like the Titanic is actually floating at sea! When you visit, you take a self-guided tour that lasts about two hours. It's designed to make you feel like you're a real passenger on the Titanic's first trip in 1912.

Exploring the Museum

Your Boarding Pass

When you enter the museum, you get a special passenger boarding ticket. This ticket has the name of a real person who was on the Titanic. It also tells you which class they were traveling in, like First Class or Third Class.

Stories from the Ship

As you walk through the museum, you will learn about the lives of many passengers and crew members. You'll hear their individual stories. The museum has twenty different rooms, called galleries. These rooms hold over 400 amazing items from the Titanic's time. These are real artifacts that were found before the ship was discovered on the ocean floor.

Grand Staircase and Memorial

One of the most exciting parts of the museum is a perfect copy of the ship's beautiful First Class grand staircase. You can even take souvenir photos here! At the end of your visit, you'll go to the Titanic Memorial Room. Here, you can find out if the passenger on your ticket survived the journey.

A World-Class Museum

The Titanic Museum in Pigeon Forge is similar to another one in Branson, Missouri. It cost $25 million to build. This museum is the biggest museum dedicated to the Titanic that's always open anywhere in the world!
