Tomonobu Hayakawa (早川 知伸, Hayakawa Tomonobu, born July 11, 1977) is a Japanese football manager and former player. He is currently the manager of the Matsumoto Yamaga football club.

Tomonobu Hayakawa's Playing Days
Tomonobu Hayakawa was born in Shizuoka, Japan, on July 11, 1977. After finishing university, he started his professional football career in 2000. He joined Urawa Red Diamonds, a team in the J2 League, which is Japan's second-highest football league.
Playing for Urawa Red Diamonds
In 2001, his team, Urawa Red Diamonds, moved up to the J1 League, which is the top football league in Japan. However, Tomonobu Hayakawa did not get to play much in games during his three seasons with the club, from 2000 to 2002.
Time with Yokohama FC
In 2003, he moved to Yokohama FC, another team in the J2 League. Here, he became a very important player. He played many games as a defender, both on the right side and in the center.
In 2006, Tomonobu Hayakawa helped Yokohama FC win the J2 League championship. This win meant that Yokohama FC was promoted to the J1 League for the 2007 season. He played many matches in the J1 League in 2007. However, the team went back down to the J2 League after just one year.
Loan to JEF United Chiba
In August 2008, he went on loan to JEF United Chiba, a team in the J1 League. He did not play many games there.
Returning to Yokohama FC and Retirement
Tomonobu Hayakawa returned to Yokohama FC in 2009. He played regularly that year. In 2010, he played less often and decided to retire from playing football at the end of that season. He played a total of 224 games and scored 12 goals in his career.
Tomonobu Hayakawa's Coaching Career
After retiring as a player, Tomonobu Hayakawa began a career in coaching.
Coaching at Yokohama FC
On April 8, 2021, he was named the manager of Yokohama FC, the same club where he had played for many years. He worked as the manager until December 10, 2021, when he became an assistant manager instead.
Moving to Matsumoto Yamaga
On December 20, 2022, Tomonobu Hayakawa joined Matsumoto Yamaga as an assistant manager for the 2023 season.
After the previous manager, Masahiro Shimoda, left the club at the end of the 2024 season, Tomonobu Hayakawa was announced as the new manager of Matsumoto Yamaga on December 19, 2024. He is currently leading the team.
