Tony Gillam, born in 1961, is an English mental health nurse, a writer, and a musician. He helps people with their mental well-being. Tony has written over 80 articles and two books about mental health.

He started the Music Workshop Project, which won an award in 1997. This project helped people through music. Tony also won international awards for his work, including the Lilly Schizophrenia Reintegration Award in 1998. He was also recognized for helping families in 2008. Today, he teaches mental health nursing at the University of Wolverhampton and the University of Worcester.

Tony Gillam was born in Shrewsbury, England. Besides his work as a mental health nurse, he is also a talented musician. He writes and sings his own songs.

Music Career

In 2007, Tony released an album called Untangle the Strings. Before that, he released two EPs (smaller albums) under the name Teach Yourself Shorthand. In 2013, he formed a music duo called Fracture Zone with Phil Richards. Tony released his first solo album, Lazy Oceanography, in 2018. He produced this album all by himself.
