Tony Pecinovsky was born on October 11, 1977. He is an American journalist, activist, and politician from St. Louis, Missouri. He is the President of the Saint Louis Workers' Education Society, which started in 2014. He is also the Vice President of International Publishers.
Pecinovsky wrote a book called Let Them Tremble: Biographical Interventions Marking 100 Years of the Communist Party, USA. He often gives talks at colleges and universities across the United States.

In 2019, Pecinovsky ran for a seat on the St. Louis Board of Aldermen for Ward 14. He ran as a Democrat against the person already holding the position, Carol Howard. In the election on March 5, 2019, Pecinovsky received 622 votes (47.99%). Carol Howard won with 674 votes (52.01%).
