Tony Singh is a Canadian singer and songwriter who lives in Toronto. He is known for his unique style of music, which mixes hip hop and reggae. Tony started his music career in 1995. He was nominated for a big music award called The Juno Award in 1996. The next year, in 1997, he won the Sikh Centennial Award for his album Jmpn For Joy.
Tony's Music Journey
In 1993, Tony Singh helped start a music group called Punjabi by Nature (PBN). This group made music together until 2003. Their first album, Jmpn For Joy, came out in 1995. One song from that album, "Dance with PBN", was nominated for a Much Music Video Award. This award celebrates the best music videos.
Tony also appeared in a documentary film in 2011 called Life Is a Highway: Canadian Pop Music in the 1990s. Later, he was in a musical-comedy movie called Spidarlings in 2016.
