Torrebesses is a small town, also called a municipality, located in the Segrià area (which is known as a comarca) in Catalonia, Spain. It is part of the Lleida province.
Its name, Torrebesses, comes from the Catalan words Torres Bessones, which means 'Twin Towers'. The number of people living in Torrebesses has slowly gone down since 1877. Back then, about 944 people lived there.
