Tortuguero Volcano, also known as Tortuguero Hill (Spanish: Cerro Tortuguero), is an old, inactive volcano. It is located about 5.5 kilometers (3.4 miles) northwest of Tortuguero, Costa Rica. This volcano is a cool natural landmark in the area.

The name "Tortuguero" is shared with the nearby town and the famous Tortuguero National Park. This name comes from the Spanish word for "many turtles." It's a perfect name because this area is well-known for its sea turtles!
