Tsukasa Umesaki (梅崎 司, Umesaki Tsukasa, born 23 February 1987) is a Japanese professional footballer. He plays as an attacking midfielder for Oita Trinita.

Tsukasa Umesaki's Football Journey
Tsukasa Umesaki started his football career at a young age. He grew up playing in the youth system of Oita Trinita. This means he trained and played with their younger teams.
Starting with Oita Trinita
In 2005, Tsukasa was good enough to join Oita Trinita's main team. This was a big step for him. He made his first professional game in the J-League on July 10, 2005. This match was against Sanfrecce Hiroshima at the Oita "Big Eye" Stadium. By 2006, he became a regular player for the team.
Playing in France
In January 2007, Tsukasa had a chance to play in France. He was loaned to Grenoble Foot 38, a team in France's second division, Ligue 2. A "loan" means he played for them for a short time before returning to his original team. He came back to Oita before his six-month loan was finished.
Moving to Urawa Red Diamonds
On December 26, 2007, a big team called Urawa Red Diamonds announced that Tsukasa would join them. He moved from Oita Trinita to Urawa Red Diamonds permanently. He played for this team for many years, from 2008 to 2017. During his time there, he played 200 games and scored 25 goals.
Later Clubs
After playing for Urawa Red Diamonds, Tsukasa joined Shonan Bellmare in 2018. He played there until 2021, appearing in 56 games and scoring 6 goals. In 2021, he returned to his first professional club, Oita Trinita, where he continues to play today.

Playing for Japan's Youth Teams
In July 2007, Tsukasa was chosen to play for the Japan U-20 national team. This team played in the 2007 FIFA U-20 World Cup. He played in all four matches at this tournament. He played as a left midfielder and even scored a goal against Scotland in their first game.
Playing for Japan's Senior Team
Tsukasa made his first game for the main Japan senior team on September 6, 2006. This was during a qualifying match for the 2007 Asian Cup. He came into the game in the final minutes, replacing another player.
