The US Bank Centre is a tall building in Cleveland, Ohio. You can find it at 1350 Euclid Avenue. This building is right in the middle of Cleveland's Theater District. It used to be called the Renaissance Center. It's the second tallest building in that area, just a bit shorter than the 272-foot Keith Building, which was built in 1922.

About the US Bank Centre

This building is used for offices. It has a total of 262,352 square feet of space. The US Bank Centre was built in 1990. The main architect was Richard L Bowen Associates. Other companies also helped build it, like Granicor Inc. and Turner Construction Company.

Building Features

The US Bank Centre has 15 floors and stands about 210 feet tall. It has a parking garage with 444 spaces, which is super handy! There are also special rooms for meetings and a restaurant inside. These are called Class A amenities, meaning they are really nice features for people working there.

A Local Legend

There's a fun story about the US Bank Centre. People say that if you are on floors 12 to 15 after midnight, you might see strange figures. These figures are said to look like old Cleveland pioneers. They are thought to come from a nearby graveyard. Because of this, these floors have become popular for local ghost hunts and are part of Cleveland's legends!

Building's Name History

The area outside the building was once known as Star Plaza. This was because a bank called Star Bank used to be there. Star Bank later changed its name to Firstar. Then, Firstar bought another bank called U.S. Bank. They decided to keep the U.S. Bank name because it was well-known across the country. That's why the building is now called the US Bank Centre!
