Ubirajara Penacho dos Reis facts for kids
Ubirajara Penacho dos Reis (born September 5, 1934 – died December 22, 2019), who most people knew as Bira, was a talented Brazilian musician. He played the bass guitar and was famous for being part of the band on popular TV talk shows.
Bira was a key member of the house band for two well-known talk shows hosted by Jô Soares. These shows were called Jô Soares Onze e Meia on the SBT channel and later Programa do Jô. A "house band" is a group of musicians who play live music on a TV show every day. Bira's friendly personality and big smile made him a favorite with viewers.
Bira passed away on December 22, 2019, at the age of 85.
