The University Club of Montreal is a special private club located in Montreal, Quebec. It was started in December 1906. The idea was to create a place for people who had graduated from university. The club officially began on November 8, 1907. For many years, it was only for men. But since 1988, both men and women can be members.

The club's main building was finished around 1912 or 1913. It is often called the "University Club" building. Its official name in French is Édifice du Club-Universitaire-de-Montréal.

The building was designed by a famous architect named Percy Erskine Nobbs. He was known for his special style of building called Arts and Crafts. This style focuses on handmade details and traditional craftsmanship.
A Protected Building
Because of its unique design and history, the building became a protected site. On September 29, 1986, it was officially registered as a "monument historique du Quebec." This means it is an important historical building in Quebec.
