Upper Liard facts for kids
Upper Liard (pronounced "lee-ahrd") is a small community in Canada's Yukon territory. It's located right next to the town of Watson Lake. Most people living in Upper Liard are part of the Liard River First Nation, an Indigenous group. The community is found along the historic Alaska Highway, at what used to be called mile 642. Many members of the Liard River First Nation also live in an area called Two Mile, just north of Watson Lake.
