Making the Movie

Filming for Uriyadi 2 started on September 20, 2018, in a place called Tenkasi. On the same day, Suriya showed the first look poster of the movie. Vijay Kumar also helped produce the movie through his own company, Souvenir Productions. Most of the filming happened in Tenkasi and Courtallam.

A new team of talented people worked on this movie. Praveen Kumar N. was the cinematographer, who handles the camera work. Linu M. was the editor, putting all the scenes together. Ezhumalai Adikesavan was the art director, designing the sets and look of the movie. Vicky was the stunt director, creating all the action scenes. He had also worked with Vijay Kumar on his previous movie. Govind Vasantha composed the music for the movie. This was his first time working with Vijay Kumar.
