Exploring Utvängstorp Church's History

How the Church Was Built
The church is made of strong stone. Its outside walls are painted white, which gives it a classic look.
The Bell Tower and Changes Over Time
Just south of the main church building, there is a separate bell tower. This tower was built in 1735. Over the years, the church has been updated several times.
- In 1838, the church had a big makeover. Workers added a new choir area to the east. They also built a new sacristy, which is a room where priests prepare.
- Later, in 1960, the inside of the church was carefully restored. This helped bring back its original beauty.
- Another major renovation happened in 1989. These updates help keep the old church strong and beautiful for everyone to visit.
