Víctor Claver Arocas (born August 30, 1988) is a Spanish former professional basketball player. He played as a power forward or small forward. He was the team captain for Valencia in Spain's top league, Liga ACB, and the EuroLeague. Víctor retired from playing basketball in July 2024.

Víctor Claver's Basketball Journey
Starting with Valencia (2006–2012)
Víctor Claver started playing basketball with his school teams in Valencia, Spain. He made his professional debut with Valencia during the 2006–07 season. He first played in the EuroCup, which is Europe's second-highest basketball competition, in 2007. He helped his team win the EuroCup in the 2009–10 season.
Later, he also played in the EuroLeague, which is Europe's top basketball league. In the 2010–11 season, he averaged about 11 points and 5 rebounds per game.
Playing in the NBA (2012–2015)
Víctor was chosen by the Portland Trail Blazers in the 2009 NBA draft. He was the 22nd player picked overall. On July 12, 2012, he officially joined the Trail Blazers.
During his time in the NBA, he sometimes played for the Idaho Stampede. This team is part of the NBA D-League, which is like a development league for the NBA. He played 80 games for the Trail Blazers over three years. In February 2015, he was traded to the Denver Nuggets but was released a few days later without playing for them.
Time in Russia (2015–2016)
After leaving the NBA, Víctor signed with BC Khimki in Russia in March 2015. He played there for the rest of that season.
Later, in September 2015, he joined another Russian team, Lokomotiv Kuban, for the 2015–16 season.
Joining FC Barcelona (2016–2021)
On July 20, 2016, Víctor signed a three-year contract with FC Barcelona Lassa. This happened after Barcelona reached an agreement with Valencia to get his player rights. He extended his contract with FC Barcelona in 2019. After five years with the club, he left FC Barcelona in July 2021.
Returning to Valencia (2021–2024)
On July 13, 2021, Víctor signed a three-year deal to return to his hometown team, Valencia. He played for Valencia until July 1, 2024, when he announced his retirement from professional basketball.
Playing for Spain's National Team
Víctor Claver also had a very successful career playing for the Spain men's national basketball team.
- He won bronze medals with Spain's junior teams in 2006 (Under-18) and 2008 (Under-20).
- With the senior national team, he won three gold medals at the EuroBasket championships (in 2009, 2011, and 2015). He also won a bronze medal at EuroBasket 2013.
- He helped Spain win a gold medal at the 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup.
- At the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, Spain won a silver medal with Víctor on the team.
- At the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Spain won a bronze medal.
