Her Art and Illustrations

After her studies, Valerie became a very busy artist. She was often asked to create drawings for children's books. Imagine reading a story and seeing her wonderful pictures!

She also painted many different kinds of pictures. Valerie was skilled at painting portraits, which are pictures of people. She painted both children and adults. However, she was especially famous for her animal paintings. She loved painting dogs the most, and her dog portraits were very popular.
