Early Life and Start in Modeling
Vanessa grew up in Nagylengyel, Hungary. Her older sister, Benedetta, was also a model. Benedetta encouraged Vanessa to try modeling too. Vanessa started modeling at age 14 in Hungary, Singapore, and Japan. When she turned 16, she decided to try modeling in Europe.
Vanessa's Modeling Career
Vanessa began her modeling journey in 2009. She first signed with Attractive Models. Later, in 2011 and 2012, she joined VIVA Model Management in Paris and DNA Model Management in New York. These agencies helped her become a global model.
Big Moments in 2012
In February 2012, Vanessa had a huge start to her career. She opened the Fall 2012 Prada fashion show in Milan. This is a very important job for a model. After that, she walked in many other big shows in Paris. These included Dries van Noten, Givenchy, Christian Dior, Louis Vuitton, and Miu Miu. She also opened shows for Céline and Valentino.

Career from 2014 Onwards
For the Spring 2014 season, Vanessa opened shows for Tommy Hilfiger and Donna Karan in New York. She also walked for Versace, Gucci, Fendi, and Jil Sander in Milan. She opened the Sacai show in Paris.
Vanessa appeared on the cover of Vogue Germany for the first time in October 2013. She was also in Calvin Klein campaigns for Spring 2014. These included Calvin Klein Jeans and the Endless Euphoria fragrance.
In Fall 2014, Vanessa was an exclusive model for the Calvin Klein Collection show. She also opened the H&M show in Paris. She appeared on the cover of Vogue Japan again in May 2014. She was also in her third Calvin Klein campaign in a row.
Vanessa was featured on the cover of Vogue Germany in September 2014. She also appeared on the cover of the American Vogue September issue. By September 2014, she had been on 8 different Vogue covers. In 2014, Models.com listed her as one of the "Top 50 Models."
