Vera Baeva (born March 18, 1930 – died June 16, 2017) was a talented Bulgarian writer and composer. She was born in the city of Burgas. She loved music from a young age and studied at the Sofia State Academy of Music. There, she learned from famous teachers like Dimiter Nenov, Marin Goleminov, and Lyubomir Pipkov.
After finishing her studies in 1953, Vera Baeva became a busy musician. She led choirs for Radio Sofia and played the piano with different music groups. She even played with the Bulgarian National Radio Symphony Orchestra. Later, she also taught music, helping young singers and musicians learn. Besides music, she also wrote two books of short stories!
