Verso Recto is a fun strategy game that can be played by one to four people. A game usually takes about 5 to 15 minutes, making it quick and exciting! It's a game that challenges your thinking and planning skills.

What You Need to Play
To play Verso Recto, you will need a special game board. You also need 28 game pieces, called pawns. These pawns come in four different colors: red, black, yellow, and blue. There are 7 pawns of each color.
Each pawn is special because it has two sides: a front side and a back side. The back side of each pawn is marked with a small dot, so you can easily tell the two sides apart during the game.
How to Play Verso Recto
Your Goal in the Game
The main goal in Verso Recto is to be the first player to connect all your pawns together. This means placing all your pieces side by side, so they are touching each other on the game board.
There's one important rule to win: all the pawns you have connected must be showing the same side. They must all be facing either their front side or their back side (the side with the dot). If you achieve this, you win the game!
Moving Your Pawns
Each player starts with seven pawns of the same color. In each turn, a player moves one of their pawns. You move a pawn by "tilting" it. This means you flip it from its front side to its back side, or from its back side to its front side.
When you tilt a pawn, it moves into an empty space on the board. This empty space must be directly opposite the pawn's starting spot, like a mirror image. There are eight possible directions a pawn can move in this way.
Awards and Recognition
The game Verso Recto has received special recognition! It was awarded the AIFF Medal (which stands for the French Association of Inventors and Manufacturers). This award was given at the Concours Lépine in 2005, a famous competition for inventors.
