Vet Volunteers facts for kids
Vet Volunteers, also known as Wild at Heart, is a popular series of books for kids. These exciting stories were written by Laurie Halse Anderson, a well-known author whose books have even appeared on New York Times bestseller lists!
The series is all about the Wild at Heart Animal Clinic. This clinic is run by a kind veterinarian named Dr. J. J. Mac, or just Dr. Mac. The books follow the amazing adventures of five young people who volunteer at the clinic.
