Vic Cherikoff facts for kids

In the mid-1980s, Vic started his own company, Bush Tucker Supply Pty Ltd. This business later became part of Vic Cherikoff Food Services Pty Ltd. His company sells native ingredients to chefs and food makers. It also provides ingredients for drinks and even cosmetics. Vic's company also publishes books and creates TV shows. He played a big part in helping the Australian native food industry grow. He connected people who grow native foods, including Aboriginal communities, with the wider market.
Vic has written several books about Australian native food. These include The Bushfood Handbook, Uniquely Australian (a wild food cookbook), and Dining Downunder Cookbook, which he wrote with Benjamin Christie.
