Who is Vicki O'Halloran?
Early Life and Education
Vicki O'Halloran was born in a town called Burnie, Tasmania. She went to high school in Smithton. Later, she studied at Devonport Community College.
She started her career working with children. She was an education officer and child care director. This was for the Circular Head Council.
In 1989, she moved to Darwin, Northern Territory. There, she continued her studies. She earned a Bachelor of Children's Services degree. This was from Charles Darwin University.
Helping the Community
Vicki O'Halloran has always been dedicated to helping others. In 1993, she joined Somerville Community Services. This organisation helps people in need.
She started as a deputy leader and manager. By 1998, she became the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). She led Somerville Community Services for many years. She worked there until 2017.
Her work focused on supporting people with disabilities. She helped many families and individuals. She made a big difference in their lives.
Leading the Northern Territory
