Vikas Gupta (born 7 May 1988) is a well-known Indian television producer, creative director, screenwriter, and host. He is famous for being a contestant on popular reality shows like Bigg Boss 11 and Bigg Boss 14. He also hosted his own reality show, MTV Ace of Space.

Early Life

Vikas Gupta was born on 7 May 1988. He grew up in Dehradun, India. His brother, Siddharth Gupta, is also an actor and a model. Vikas cares about helping others. He is one of the directors of an organization called Lost Boy Welfare Association. This group works to help children who are in need.

His Career in TV

Vikas Gupta started working in television when he was just 17 years old. He began his career at Balaji Telefilms.

Starting Out

Vikas was the creative head for many popular shows at Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms. Some of these shows include Mahabharat, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, and Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya. Later, he started his own company called Lost Boy Productions. This company has made many successful TV series. These include Gumrah: End of Innocence, Warrior High, Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan, and Yeh Hai Aashiqui. Vikas Gupta also became the youngest programming head for MTV India.

Producing and Hosting Shows

In 2017, Vikas produced a show called Class of 2017 for ALTBalaji. In 2018, he hosted IIFA Buzz in Thailand for the IIFA Awards 2018. He also created and hosted his own reality show called Ace of Space on MTV India. He returned to host Ace of Space 2 in 2019. In 2020, he created Class of 2020 for ALTBalaji.

Reality TV Appearances

In October 2017, Vikas Gupta joined Colors TV's Bigg Boss 11. He did very well on the show and finished as the second runner-up. Because of his smart strategies, people on the show gave him the nickname “Mastermind”.

In 2019, he took part in Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 9 in Argentina. He also appeared on Khatra Khatra Khatra with other TV stars. In November 2020, he entered Bigg Boss 14 as a challenger. He had a disagreement with another contestant and left the show briefly, but then came back.
