Irolli's paintings often showed scenes from everyday life in Naples, especially its local culture and people. His work also showed the influence of another artist, Antonio Mancini, who also painted everyday subjects.

Vincenzo Irolli had a natural talent for painting that was easy to see and very appealing. This helped him become very popular with the public. He was a very busy artist and created more than 5,000 paintings during his life!

He also showed his art at important events, like the Biennale of Art in Venice in both 1922 and 1924.
