Vio was first tested in the United States in 2009. However, it did not become very popular with people. Even so, it was still made in small amounts for a while.
Vio Around the World
In 2016, Coca-Cola India launched a different kind of Vio. This version was a flavored milk drink, but it was not fizzy. The Coca-Cola Company also sells a similar drink in Japan called Qoo.
What People Thought of Vio
Time magazine talked about Vio in 2010. They put it on their list of "50 Worst Inventions." They also included it in their "Top 10 Bad Beverage Ideas" list.
Vio's Relaunch in India
In 2020, The Coca-Cola Company brought Vio back in India. This time, they launched a regional drink called Spiced Buttermilk. It was sold under the Vio brand.
