Vuyo Dabula (born on September 11, 1976) is a talented South African actor, model, and bodybuilder. He is well-known for playing the character Shandu Magwaza in the exciting Netflix crime drama series, Queen Sono.

Early Life and Education
Vuyo Dabula grew up in South Africa. He finished high school at P.H Moeketsi Agricultural High in 1995. After that, he went to Wits Technikon, where he studied for a year and graduated in 1996.
Even though he studied agriculture, Vuyo realized he was more interested in acting. He decided to follow his passion and went to AFDA Cape Town to study acting. This helped him start his journey in the entertainment world.
Acting Career Highlights
Vuyo Dabula has become a very popular actor in South Africa and beyond. He is especially famous for his role as Kumkani Phakade in the long-running South African soap opera, Generations.
He also appeared in the big Hollywood movie Avengers: Age of Ultron in 2015. In this film, he played a police officer in Johannesburg. In 2017, Vuyo took on the main role of Tau in the film Five Fingers for Marseilles, which was a big success.
One of his most notable roles was Shandu in Netflix's first original African series, Queen Sono. Shandu was a spy who became a rebel and was also a love interest for the main character, played by Pearl Thusi. The show was very popular, and Netflix planned a second season. However, the second season was later cancelled because of challenges caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
