Vuyo Dabula is a talented South African actor, model, and bodybuilder. He was born on September 11, 1976. Many people know him best for playing Shandu Magwaza in the exciting Netflix crime drama series, Queen Sono.

Early Life and Education
Vuyo Dabula grew up in South Africa. He finished high school at P.H Moeketsi Agricultural High in 1995. After that, he went to Wits Technikon for one year, graduating in 1996.
Even though he studied agriculture, Vuyo realized he was not interested in making it his career. He wanted to act! So, he decided to study acting at AFDA Cape Town to follow his dream.
Vuyo Dabula's Acting Career
Vuyo Dabula has become very famous for his acting roles. One of his most well-known characters is Kumkani Phakade in the South African TV show, Generations. This show is a popular soap opera, which means it's a long-running drama series.
He also appeared in a big Hollywood movie called Avengers: Age of Ultron in 2015. In this film, he played a police officer in Johannesburg. Vuyo took on the main role in the 2017 movie Five Fingers for Marseilles.
In 2020, Vuyo starred as Shandu in Queen Sono. This was Netflix's very first original series from Africa. Shandu was a spy who became a rebel, and he was also a love interest for the main character, played by Pearl Thusi. The show was planned for a second season, but it was later cancelled because of challenges with making the show during the COVID-19 pandemic.
