Växjö HF is a handball club from Växjö, Sweden. It was started in 1972. The club grew out of another local club called Växjö BK.
Handball is a fast-paced team sport. Players pass a ball by hand and try to throw it into the opponent's goal.

Early Years and Top League Play
Växjö HF was founded in 1972. The men's team played in Sweden's top handball league. This league is called the Elitserien. They competed there for three seasons in the early 1990s.
Junior Team Success
The club has also had great success with its younger teams. In the year 2000, the boys' junior team won the Swedish national championship. Three years later, in 2003, the girls' team also won their Swedish national championship.
