What Makes Warnborough Green Special?
Warnborough Green is made up of two "wet meadows." These are grassy fields that stay damp or wet for much of the year. They are located on either side of the River Whitewater, which helps keep the soil moist.

The two rare flies found here are the soldier fly (scientific name: Stratiomys potamida) and the hoverfly (scientific name: Xylota abiens).
