Warnes is a town located in Bolivia. It is named after a brave military leader, Colonel Ignacio Warnes. He played an important role in the South American war of independence. The town is situated about 24 kilometers (15 miles) north of Santa Cruz de la Sierra.

Location and Geography
Warnes is found in the eastern lowlands of Bolivia. It is located at an elevation of 339 meters (1,112 feet) above sea level. The town's coordinates are 17°31′ South and 63°10′ West.
