The Weilüe (pronounced "Way-loo-eh") was an important history book written a long time ago in China. Its full name means "A Brief History of Wei." It was written by a smart person named Yu Huan.
Yu Huan wrote this book between the years 239 and 265 AD. He lived during a time in Chinese history called the Three Kingdoms period (220–280 AD). This was a time when China was split into three main states, and Yu Huan worked for one of them called Cao Wei.
