The West Farnam neighborhood, also called the Blackstone neighborhood, is a cool area in Omaha, Nebraska. It stretches from Dodge Street in the north to Leavenworth Street in the south. To the east, you'll find Highway 75/Interstate 480, and to the west, it goes up to South 52nd Street.

In 1997, a special area called the Gold Coast Historic District was created. This district includes parts of the West Farnam neighborhood and another area called Park Place, which is now known as Cathedral. The West Farnam neighborhood got its name from Farnam Street, a main road that runs through it. In the early 1900s, this area was a very popular place to buy land and build homes. Today, it is home to many important historical buildings. These include old houses, churches, and even former hotels.
