The School of Adventure Studies is based in Fort William and Broadford. This school teaches exciting courses about adventure! You can learn about managing adventure tourism. There are also courses on coaching adventure sports. You could even study adventure education or marine coastal tourism.
In February 2012, Dr Michael Foxley became the head of the college. He helped lead the college forward.
In January 2013, some good news was shared. Money from the European Regional Development Fund was given to the college. This money helped build a new centre in Portree. The new building could teach up to 300 students. It also added 60 full-time places starting in September 2013.
