Western Women's Hockey League facts for kids
The Western Women's Hockey League (WWHL) is a special ice hockey league for women. It's played in North America. This league started in 2004. Some of the world's best female hockey players compete here. They also play in another big league called the National Women's Hockey League (NWHL).
Some teams that used to be in the NWHL later joined the WWHL. Today, the Minnesota Whitecaps and the Manitoba Maple Leafs are still active teams. They play many special games as the league grows and adds new teams.
