Wiggledance! is a fun concert video from the popular children's group, the Wiggles. It was their fifth video overall and their very first full concert recording! The show was filmed live in December 1996 at the Seymour Centre and released in June 1997.

About Wiggledance!

This video is special because it was the first time fans could watch a whole Wiggles concert from start to finish at home. It captures the energy and excitement of their live shows.

Songs You'll Hear

Wiggledance! features many of your favorite Wiggles songs that will make you want to sing and dance along! Here is a list of the songs included in the concert:

  • Rock-a-Bye Your Bear
  • Can You (Point Your Fingers And Do The Twist?)
  • Dorothy the Dinosaur
  • Dorothy (Would You Like to Dance?)
  • Vini Vini
  • Wags the Dog
  • Quack, Quack

Behind the Scenes

When Wiggledance! was made, the Wiggles updated their logo. This new logo, with a yellow splotch behind their name, appeared on the stage floor and the video covers. However, the Wiggles themselves wore their usual plain colored shirts with short sleeves during the concert.

One song, "Vini Vini," was only in the very first release of the video. Later versions of Wiggledance! removed this song.

In the song "Wake Up Jeff!", you might spot Anthony Field's brother, Paul Field, and his family in the audience. Paul Field was also a singer for the band The Cockroaches.

In 2013, the Wiggles added Wiggledance! to their Wiggle Time TV service, so more people could watch it. Later, in 2019, parts of the original 1997 video were released on their YouTube channel as "Classic Wiggles."
